PAC Participation Agreement
Don’t Forget to Sign Your Participation Agreement to Support Credit Union Political Advocacy
CrossState Credit Union Association (CrossState) is continuing its efforts to elevate the visibility of New Jersey and Pennsylvania credit unions, and their more than 5.0 million members among lawmakers in Washington, D.C., Harrisburg, and Trenton.
One way to assist CrossState’s advocacy efforts is for a credit union to sign a CrossState Political Action Committee (CrossState PAC) Participation Agreement. Signing the form does not obligate you or your credit union’s staff, volunteers, and members to contribute to the CrossState PAC. It simply allows CrossState to keep them abreast of our political activities, and accept voluntary contributions to the CrossState PAC.
The form is an administrative requirement of the Federal Election Commission (FEC). Without a signed form, CrossState is limited to keeping member credit unions updated on a variety of political advocacy efforts.
A Participation Agreement can be signed for up to five years and may be withdrawn any time after the year it was signed. Your members, volunteers or staff will never be contacted or solicited directly by CrossState to support the CrossState PAC.
Thank you for taking part in the political process to expand opportunities for CrossState member credit unions and to strengthen our message to New Jersey’s and Pennsylvania’s lawmakers on Capitol Hill.
