Join Lancaster Chapter for a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) & Networking Event on May 30 from 6 – 8 p.m.

The ME in WE – Culture, Belonging and Employee Resource Groups 

Presented by Members 1st Federal Credit Union

Attendees of this workshop will explore the step-by-step process used at Members 1st Federal Credit Union to create Associate Resource Groups (also known as ARGs or Employee Resource Groups, ERGs) and organization wide diversity training. Amanda Price will be sharing steps around assessing your company culture and creating the framework an ARG. Elyse Perry, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Associate Resource Group (ARG) Chairperson will share ideas and resources on how we create and facilitate ARG programs and embed belonging into our culture. Tim Lengel will discuss the process of creating a diversity training and manager bootcamp that highlights workplace culture and belonging. Attendees will engage in a series of dialogue to discuss achievable initiatives that can promote belonging in the workplace. Information will be provided to attendees that includes resources for local DEIB experts, recommended books, ARG structure recommendations, and communication tips. This will be an engaging presentation that ties in personal experience and professional resources and tools that you can put in place at your company.

Cost: 

• $25 per member credit union employee or volunteer
• $35 per non-member credit union employee or volunteer, guest, or vendor** 

—Dinner vouchers will be provided to be used towards their word-class food hall; drinks will be available for purchase at Bar 1888

• Sign in begins at 6pm — We will have time for networking before the training, allowing attendees to get their meal and settle in

Parking Directions for Southern Market: There is free parking during the event on the 100 block of S Queen St, metered parking until 6pm on Vine St, and parking available in the parking garage across the street. (Steinman Garage or Pressroom Garage)
