Join your fellow HR credit union professionals for a peer group discussion to provide support and community for each other through the unique happenings and challenges of the credit union movement.
Each meeting will include an hour-long presentation from a subject matter expert, followed by an hour-long open discussion focused on current events and best practices.
Speaker Details
Bill will provide an update on the state and federal employment law changes and developments that have, or will, impact every credit union in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Following his update, there will be time for a Q&A, so bring your questions!
Speaker Bio
William H. Healey
Bill is a founding member in the law firm of Kluger Healey, LLC, a law firm which provides a comprehensive range of management-side employment law services. He has twice been designated by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney (a distinction limited to less than 2% of the lawyers in New Jersey). He counsels and represents businesses in a broad range of employment law and commercial matters, and has been successful in all phases of civil practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York. He concentrates on cases involving discrimination, sexual harassment, whistleblower, wage & hour issues, employment contracts, and employment torts. He also represents businesses in litigations involving misappropriation of trade secrets, independent contractors, employee disloyalty, non-competition and non-disclosure agreements, and various commercial law issues. He received his law degree from Rutgers School of Law-Camden, and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers College. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, as well as the United States District Court for the Districts of New Jersey, the Southern District of New York, the Eastern District of New York, the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the United States Court of Appeals (Second and Third Circuits).
