Event Information
CrossState Leadership School is an opportunity to gain leadership skills and move your career forward in a fun, collaborative environment. Students learn from Penn State Corporate Learning instructors and from credit union peers and colleagues. In a combination of classroom learning and team building, students walk away with improved leadership skills, ideas to improve their credit union, and a network of peers.
CrossState Leadership School also offers a little more than traditional classroom learning. Students will spend a day at Shaver’s Creek Environmental Center participating in hands-on learning activities while enjoying the great outdoors. The team building activities focus on improving skills in cooperation, trust, problem-solving, and relationships. Each activity is the catalyst for discussion of individual and team concepts. Skills facilitators guide participants through the process of analyzing what was learning and also how to apply the experience to their work setting.
