Part-Time Member Service Representative – Ridgedale FCU

Ridgedale Federal Credit Union, formerly Novartis Federal Credit Union, is a not-for-profit financial cooperative providing banking products and services to its members in the Morris County Area. Established in 1947, RDFC is a 120 million asset sized credit union.

Job Summary:

The Member Service Representative will be responsible for working a teller window and servicing the members at a desk. Strong knowledge of credit union products and services. The position reports directly to the Regional Branch Manager.

Location:

East Hanover, NJ. The credit union offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or teller role in a banking environment.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize duties.
  • Knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Basic computer skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for processing members transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and check cashing.
  • Assist all members in-person and on the telephone, in a professional, timely and courteous manner.
  • Assist in building valued financial relationships with our members by actively recommending and cross-selling Ridgedale Federal Credit Union products and services.
  • Knowledgeable about credit union products and services.
  • Always maintain a professional demeanor
  • Follow policy and procedures of the credit union.
  • Ensure all members’ inquiries are accurately and promptly processed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
