Lending Manager Trainee — Mon Valley Community FCU

Purpose:

Oversee the processes, procedures, and policies in the Credit Union’s Lending and Collection Departments. Works with the Lending Manager and CEO to ensure the Credit Union meets all federal loan regulations. Helps advance the Credit Union towards its strategic goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assumes overall responsibility for the success of the consumer/mortgage lending and collection department.
• Directs and monitors lending and collection activities to ensure the Credit Union meets established goals and objectives.
• Monitors economic, market, and competitor pricing, making recommendations or adjustments.
• Maintains a highly trained, highly skilled, motivated staff sufficient to meet lending and collection demands.
• Prepares monthly reports including reports to the Board of Directors.
• Investigate and resolve problems that arise in reference to member accounts and loans.
• Evaluates the loan portfolio, analyzes developing trends, and recommends changes and improvements based on credit union standards, risk tolerances, and practices.
• Stays up to date on all lending and collection regulations and ensures the credit union follows them.
• Works closely with President, CEO, Operations Manager, and Head Teller to implement programs which will enhance the growth of the Credit Union. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, in Business, Finance or related field or equivalent experience preferred but not required
• Finance/Banking industry experience preferred
