Schedule

Full Time hours of operation: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:15-5:15; Wednesday 8:15-1:15

Overview

As the first point of contact, the MSR/Teller position demonstrates superior service level expectations for our members and prospective members. We focus on creating and delivering exceptional, memorable, and personable experiences with a strong commitment to member service. The MSR/Teller position provides accurate and efficient processing of members’ financial transactions to ensure accurate record keeping of member accounts, while maintaining high levels of member satisfaction. Additionally, this position contributes to the Organizational goals, primarily by identifying and promoting products and services that meet the needs of our members.

Responsibilities

Provide Superior Member Service

  • Perform Transactions & Requests such as: Processing Deposits, Loan Payments, check orders, account maintenance, open and closing accounts & loans.
  • Explain various loan products and payment options for auto & personal loans, credit cards, and various insurance products.
  • Promote all products & services.
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Education and Experience

  • 6-12 months prior experience in cash handling and providing member service. Experience within a credit union, banking, or savings and loan environment is preferred.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A great team player and ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment
  • Good math skills

Physical Demands And Sensory Abilities

Familiarity with PCs and applicable software

  • Sufficient manual dexterity for operation of PC keyboard and other standard office equipment
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended time periods

Job Type:        Full-time, Part-time

Salary:             $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
