BSA/Compliance Officer — Ridgedale FCU
Ridgedale Federal Credit Union located at 124 South Ridgedale Ave is seeking a BSA/Compliance Officer. The BSA/Compliance Officer is responsible for administering and maintaining compliance in all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program to comply with the relevant U.S. laws and regulations. The BSA Compliance Officer is required to be fully knowledgeable with all applicable regulatory requirements and be able to independently recognize, develop, and implement compliance related solutions for the Credit Union’s BSA/AML Program. The BSA Compliance Officer is also expected to support and advise operational stakeholders with the development of appropriate controls within their respective functions. Coordination and communication are the key functions of the compliance officer regarding planning, implementing, training and monitoring of all compliance programs. The BSA Compliance Officer will report to the President/CEO.
Applicants must have:
Education/Certifications: College degree in business related field preferred OR equivalent and demonstrated credit union/banking experience. Required Knowledge: Thorough knowledge and understanding of credit union services and products and procedures. Demonstrated knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements.
Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years of similar or related experience in a Credit Union or Bank.
Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and may be sensitive in nature. Work may also involve motivating or influencing others. Fostering sound relationships both internally and externally will be necessary.
Skills and Abilities: Proven leadership and management skills. Solid analytical skills, excellent organizational and problems solving skills. Candidate must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work with confidence in multiple software applications.
