Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for all or part of the duties and responsibilities involved in security, compliance, scheduling and staffing, assignment of duties and priorities of completion in accordance with policies, principles, and procedures established by the credit union and directly assigned to the Assistant Branch Manager.
  • Assists in the coordination of deposit, lending and member services functions in accordance with policies, principles, and procedures established.
  • Assists in the preparation of appropriate branch accounting records and reports.
  • Communicates with Branch Manager to monitor the effectiveness of procedures, as well as any changes to procedures.
  • Oversees day-to-day operations within the branch when Branch Manager is out of the office.
  • Ensures that the Branch image is favorable, reflecting a sound and secure financial institution that employs prudent housekeeping procedures, safety measures, and provides a pleasant atmosphere for members, including privacy, confidentiality, and ease of use.
  • Performs Financial Service Representative and Teller duties when required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A) from a four-year college or university; plus three to five years related management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong analytical abilities, highly motivated, goal oriented, excellent member services skills with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

This individual must be available for scheduling during Credit Union operating hours. Staffing assignments are periodically adjusted to meet business needs. This position could be transferred to another office in the same geographic region at any time.
