White Rose Credit Union Supports Local Youth Development Center
Information provided by White Rose Credit Union
In a gesture of community support, White Rose Credit Union recently visited the Youth Development Center (YDC) in York, PA, spreading joy and creating lasting memories for the youth under its care.
The YDC provides emergency and immediate care for youth whose circumstances necessitate a short-term, closely supervised, least restricting setting. These are young individuals who have been adjudicated or deemed dependent by Commonwealth Courts, with ages ranging from 10 to 21, both male and female.
White Rose Credit Union, in its commitment to community engagement, recently organized a visit to the Youth Development Center, bringing companionship to the young residents. The credit union team provided pizza, snacks, and drinks. Additionally, the credit union distributed gift bags filled with toys, journaling supplies, and candy, offering both entertainment and creative outlets for the young individuals. The visit allowed the White Rose Credit Union team to connect with the youth on a personal level, fostering a sense of community and demonstrating that they are not alone in their journey.
The credit union looks forward to future opportunities to collaborate with local organizations and continue contributing to the well-being of the community.
