TruMark Financial Credit Union, Area Credit Unions Collaborate to Host Financial Reality Fair for 300 PA Students 

On January 17, TruMark Financial Credit Union held a Financial Reality Fair at Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School in Gwynedd Valley, PA, for around 300 students. Participating credit unions and organizations included, Merck Sharp & Dohme FCU, North Penn FCU, CrossState Solutions, and American Heritage FCU. 

“The students were excited and surprised at the outcomes of their budgets,” said Denise Romanelli, TruMark AVP Corporate Social Responsibility. “As first-time participants to Reality Fair, students became aware of what it really meant to live independently.” 

When asked what they learned, one student said, “I can’t believe how much things cost. I’m going to go home and thank my parents for all they do.”
