PSECU Announces Director Promotions and New Hire

PSECU, Pennsylvania’s digital-first credit union, proudly announces the promotion of five employees to Directors and the hiring of a new Director, reflecting the credit union’s commitment to developing internal talent and bringing in experienced professionals with fresh perspectives.
Amanda Balmer has been promoted to Director, Financial Crimes Risk Officer. Over the last decade, Amanda has been a strong leader in the credit union’s Financial Crimes unit. Her contributions and leadership will support new initiatives fighting against fraud for PSECU members.
Debbie Houser is now the Director of the Digital Banking Program. Debbie brings over 20 years of experience as a technology leader with an in-depth understanding of how to apply digital banking technologies and industry trends to advance the company’s technological capabilities. In her new role, she will influence broader digital strategy and integration across platforms, building processes and governance.
Emily Lingle has been promoted to Director of Member Experience. Emily has been with PSECU for six years, consistently demonstrating her commitment and leadership in enhancing the member experience. In her new role, she will drive the development and execution of the member experience vision across all touchpoints, leveraging innovative strategies to deliver exceptional service.
Lindsay McCall is now the Director of Total Rewards. She started at PSECU as an intern over 20 years ago and has steadily grown her HR expertise and leadership skills ever since. In her new role, she will ensure that the credit union’s compensation, benefits, retirement, leave, payroll, and Human Resource Information System (HRIS) programs are compliant and maintain market competitiveness to attract and retain a talented workforce.
Rebecca Laughman is now the Director, Compliance Officer. With many years in the financial industry, including six years as the Compliance Officer at PSECU, Rebecca brings a wealth of expertise, skills, and knowledge. In her new role, she will set the direction for the overall design, implementation, and management of PSECU’s Compliance Management Program.
PSECU also welcomes Kellen Johnson as Director of Commercial Banking Services. Kellen joins the organization with over 20 years of experience in the banking industry. In this new role, he will be responsible for developing and expanding the credit union’s Commercial Real Estate and Small Business Practice, including, but not limited to, origination, structuring, underwriting, closing, and servicing.
