Patriot FCU’s Celaschi Receives Award from Alma Mater

Patriot Federal Credit Union President/CEO, Ron Celaschi recently earned the Meritorious Award from PennWest University, California, Pennsylvania.  The award is given to a graduate who has earned the highest standard and recognition for outstanding accomplishments and achievements in a specified field of their chosen profession.

Celaschi earned his M.B.A. from the university in 2008 and has served as President/CEO of Patriot since April 2023.  Ron has more than 32 years in the credit union movement.  During his career, he spent over 14 years at the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association (PCUA), where he was a senior planning consultant for members of the credit union league.  He served as CEO of Frick Tri-County Federal Credit Union (2005-2008), Vice President – Lending and Senior Vice President – Lending and Operations before being named President/CEO at Clearview Federal Credit Union (2018-2023).

“Having spent my entire career in the credit union industry, we don’t do what we do for recognition, but for the greater good of our members and the communities that we serve,” said Celaschi.  “That said, I’m grateful and humbled to have been chosen to receive this award and have so many things and people to be thankful for.”
