Members 1st Charitable Foundation Announces Grant Recipients for Second Funding Cycle of 2024

The Members 1st Charitable Foundation has announced eight grant recipients for the second funding cycle of 2024. The foundation awards grants four times a year to organizations that serve as catalysts for positive change in their communities. Organizations are eligible to receive one grant per year with a maximum grant amount of $10,000.
The 2024 second funding cycle grant recipients are as follows:
- Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks – Berks County, PA
- Camelot for Children – Lehigh County, PA
- Camp Hebron – Dauphin County, PA
- Lancaster County Food Club – Lancaster County, PA
- Lancaster County Cleft Palate Clinic – Lancaster County, PA
- New Hope Ministries – Cumberland County, PA
- Vista School – Dauphin County, PA
- York Fresh Food – York County, PA
“We are proud to provide support to eight organizations across our region for the second funding cycle of the year. Each of their individual missions serves critical needs in our communities, and their passion for making a difference is inspiring,” said Sara Firestone, the foundation’s Executive Director. “Awarding these grants is one of the ways our credit union lives out the philosophy of people helping people. It is truly gratifying to know that our support can make a tangible difference.”
Members 1st Federal Credit Union launched the foundation in 2021 to enhance the credit union’s community support. Since its inception, the foundation has invested $358,500 back into the communities of its 10-county footprint.
