CrossState is gearing up for a great annual convention and that includes great moments for the CrossState Foundation—the charitable arm of CrossState and the promoter of financial education! As Chair of the Foundation and on behalf of the entire Board of Directors, I hope you will join our events and help raise funds to build upon our mission to support the success of our credit unions and their positive impact on local communities through a spirit of collaboration.
Leaders in Financial Literacy Luncheon
This annual event is a celebration of our continued community support! It also provides inspiration from the 2025 Leaders in Financial Literacy awardees as we learn about their programs. As a critical fundraiser for the Foundation, we are grateful for your generous sponsorships and support!
This year, our theme this year is “Together, We Grow Hope in Communities.” The Foundation sees credit unions creating hope in their communities all year long—offering financial education to nonprofit groups, teaching in schools, volunteering and donating to local charities especially during CU Kind—and the list goes on. I encourage you to join in raising up the great work of credit unions and the hope you all provide in your communities!
When registering for Connect between March 27-31, you’ll have the chance to win two free tickets for the Luncheon, plus 50 raffle tickets, and two door prize tickets. Register at the end of this month to have the chance to win $240 in prizes!
Leaders in Financial Literacy Panel
Come and hear from our 2024 Leaders in Financial Literacy as they share about their award-winning programs during a panel at Connect sponsored by Visa. Take the opportunity to ask questions and take-home ideas on how your credit union can promote financial education for your members and your community. This panel of greatness is not to miss!
Spring Raffle Basket
We credit unions love a good raffle—and the Foundation basket raffle is legendary! It feels like it is a “who can do it better” competition each year, and we are never disappointed. The basket raffle will be held outside the trade show and the winners will be picked on the last day. We hope you will donate a basket and buy tickets! We raised over $10,000 in ticket sales last year!
Grow Hope Exhibitor Initiative
If you are an exhibitor, we hope you will support the Foundation! We will provide a special item for your booth (and for you as well) that shows your support for the Foundation and our mission.
