First Harvest Credit Union joins other credit unions from around the United States and donated to the disaster relief efforts to help those credit union employees and their families who have been impacted by the deadly wildfires on the Hawaiian island of Maui in recent months.
“As a ‘People First’ credit union that holds a strong commitment to helping our members and communities grow and build better financial futures, it’s only natural that we extend our commitment to our fellow credit unions during times of need.” said Mike Dinneen, President & CEO of First Harvest Credit Union. “Even in such a perilous situation, Hawaiian credit unions are still operating in order to help their membership, and I am proud of our employees for initiating this fundraiser to support the efforts of our friends in Hawaii.”
The $1,000 donation amount comprise of funds collected directly from employees and a contribution from First Harvest Credit Union.
