First Capital FCU Opens New Manchester Branch
York, PA – First Capital FCU in conjunction with the York County Economic Alliance and the Buy Local Coalition held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of First Capital’s new Manchester branch on Tuesday, October 3. The new branch, located at 4157 N. George St., Ext. in East Manchester Township, is the 5th branch for the credit union.
“Members have been asking us to put a branch in Manchester for a long time,” said Sue DeStephano, President & CEO. “We are excited for this new branch and being able to better serve our growing membership.”
Around 100 people were on hand for the flag raising ceremony, presented by the Susquehanna Post 2493, Veterans of Foreign Wars; check presentation of $200 to the VFW; and the ribbon cutting which included the building’s architects and contractors, the Mula Group and Keller Contracting; as well as other vendors, business members, and First Capital staff. The credit union served pulled chicken and pork, and baked beans from Smok’n Hogs BBQ; and paw print ice cream sandwiches from the Bobcat Creamery. Candy jars were given out to all attendees to thank them for coming.
