CrossState Responds to Comments on the Regulation & Tax Treatment of Credit Unions

During the American Bankers Association Annual Convention, Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-NY)  commented on the regulation and tax treatment of credit unions. Tenney, a member of the House Ways and Means Committee (Committee), expressed her support for a congressional oversight hearing in the Committee on the credit union tax exemption and the regulations guiding the credit union industry.
