CrossState Attends Signing of Financial Education Legislation
Yesterday, CrossState joined Gov. Josh Shapiro and Sen. Chris Gebhard (R-49) for signing of legislation that requires public and private schools to provide a course in personal financial literacy worth at least half of a credit. Students will have to complete the course once during their high school career, and it will become a requirement in the 2026-2027 school year.
CrossState lobbied for the legislation and also a part of a coalition, FinEd50, which focuses on financial well-being.
