CrossState and Credit Unions Host Meet & Greet with Rep. LaMonica McIver

On Tuesday, New Jersey credit union leaders had the pleasure of meeting with Rep. LaMonica McIver (NJ-D) at North Jersey FCU’s Newark Branch. The meeting, led by North Jersey FCU CEO Richard Garcia, provided an opportunity to discuss how credit unions are supporting their members and the communities they serve. Affinity FCU was also in attendance with CrossState’s SVP of Government Relations Christina Mihalik and Government Relations Associate Kevin Oswald.

McIver, who joined Congress last month, shared her vision for the district and engaged in a thoughtful discussion about financial literacy and expanding access to financial services for underserved communities. Attendees also had the chance to ask questions about her experiences on the campaign trail.
