From random acts of kindness in our branches, to community outreach, donation drop-offs, and more, CHROME employees were out in full force during Random Acts of Kindness Week (Feb 12-16)!
RAK Week took off with the ultimate act of kindness, as team members and the community donated blood at the Vitalant blood drive held at our Wexford Branch. Our Washington and Meadowlands branch employees handed out carnations to members and hosted a raffle at all branch locations to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
CHROME employees gathered hygiene, food, and pet donations to drop off at North Hills Community Outreach, Angel Ridge Animal Rescue, The City Mission, Heart of Lion Wrestling, Fix ‘Ur Cat Clinic, Community Circle Food Pantry, and made a monetary donation to CASA for Kids, Washington Inc.
Team members delivered breakfast and sweet treats to employees at Primrose Schools, Burgettstown Area Elementary and School District, Bentworth Elementary School, Allison Park Elementary School, North Strabane Municipal Building, The Greenery Center for Rehab, and Magee-Women’s Hospital of UPMC exemplifying what it means to serve your community. We surprised customers at Fresh Start Cafe with free coffee to start their morning with a smile. Our lending department handed out gift cards to unsuspecting shoppers at the Canonsburg Shop N Save.
While RAK Week has come to an end, our kindness doesn’t stop there. All year long, we are looking to pay it forward to our community and you can too!
