American Heritage Credit Union (“American Heritage”) is partnering with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh to offer first-time homebuyer programs to help members afford and better navigate the homebuying process. American Heritage members can receive up to $15,000 through the annual First Front Door grant to use toward homebuying costs. Additionally, American Heritage offers the My CU Home Connection program, a one-stop-shop homebuying and selling service.
First Front Door (FFD) $15,000 Grant:
In the First Front Door Grant Program, American Heritage works with FHLBank of Pittsburgh to assist first-time homebuyers with the closing costs and down payment for their new home with up to $15,000 in funding. Borrowers who contribute $1,500 of their own funds will be eligible for a maximum grant of $15,000. These grants are designed to help first-time homebuyers who meet certain income requirements with down payments and closing costs associated with the purchase and financing of a home. Grant funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
My CU Home Connection:
My CU Home Connection™ offers a progressive home buying and selling service that bundles the searching, buying, and selling processes to help you save on your next home. Real estate clients can receive cash rewards, benefits, and discounts from all service providers. To qualify for the program and its benefits, borrowers must register at no cost or obligation by visiting MyCUHomeConnection.com/Registration. Once registered, a My CU Home Connection Concierge will contact you personally and advise you of the next steps.
