32 Credit Union Professionals Complete the Foundation’s Enhanced Financial Counseling Certification Program

A group of 32 credit union professionals from New Jersey and Pennsylvania recently completed the spring session of the CrossState Credit Union Foundation’s (Foundation) Enhanced Financial Counseling Certification Program (FiCEP) and passed the final exam. With this accomplishment, they receive the designation of Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor, CCUFC.

The Foundation has run the eight-week Enhanced FiCEP program with CUNA for the past 7 years and has had over 160 students go through the program.  The certification program provides credit union employees with the skills and knowledge required to guide their members to sound financial decisions.  With certified credit union financial counselors on staff, credit unions are better able to help members with financial situations and make them stand out among financial institutions as a trusted resource.
